Nov 24, 2015 · Far too many Christian see Jesus’ instructions to His disciples to go buy a sword as an endorsement by Jesus of gun ownership, and in some cases, an endorsement of violence. I am not of this persuasion. For the record, I support the constitutional right of United States citizens to buy and own guns. But I don’t do so on the basis of Scripture.
