Dec 6, 2021 · Problem 1: Unable to sign in to BBID. When I open 'Settings > Blackberry ID > Sign in' and enter my credentials and hit 'sign-in' I'm presented with an error message that reads: "Unable to sign in to Blackberry ID. Make sure that you have set the current date and time and try again." I check the date & time and it's all good.
Check the spam folder in your email client for an email from do_not_reply@post.blackberry.com. We also recommend adding this email to your address book or whitelist so it is not treated as spam in the future. Resend the verification email. Jan 1, 2022 · 'BlackBerry ID requires a network connection. Check that you're connected to a wireless network and try again.' I also tried to sign in using a paid VPN service, from servers located in Canada and the UK (where the phone was purchased), but it didn't work either.
