Dec 31, 2023 · Group owner’s getting banned on ROBLOX and the groups owned by them becoming forever locked has been a issue for many years. There really should be a feature where in the case a owner is banned the group should be immediately set to unowned and be able to be claimed by anyone, or have a designated backup account added to the groups ownerships.

If you want to avoid something like this, then i believe it is possible to just make a dummy roblox account, make the that owner, then make a role right under that, that has all permissions, and put your main account in that role.
