The animation is the best it’s ever looked, Clay’s study in Beforel is a beautiful set. I absolutely adore the two songs that play in the episode, Suspicious and Cool and ,even better, Patera . The motif of the Blue Crane from the Nature two-parter returns and feels really fitting as we experience another, earlier life-changing time in Orel’s life.
Orel tries to get Clay to leave with their family, and Clay and the Puppingtons go home after Clay gives up on mending his relationship with Stopframe. The series concludes with Orel slowly morphing into an adult as Putty gives a radio address about family, noting that while most of the time we're just stuck with who we have, occasionally a "miracle" happens and a family genuinely loves one ...
