Plot. In Los Angeles, Judge John Eden (Beau Bridges) is presiding over the preliminary hearing of four gang members -- members of the Ice Men Gang -- who brutally robbed Ellen Reardon (Sandra Lee Gimpel), pushed her into the path of a subway train, and left her to fight for her life.
When the punks who murdered his wife go free, a psychotic man (Leibman) decides to take justice into his own hands. He kidnaps the wife of the judge in charge (Bridges, who also directed) and leads him on a wild goose chase. Leibman steals the film as the psycho.
After letting a gang off from an assault charge due to lack of evidence, Judge Beau Bridges is forced by the victim's psychotic husband to hunt down evidence that will convict the gang in seven hours or the villainous mastermind will kill Judge Beau Bridge's wife! A 90-minute yuppie nightmare.
