Now that I think about it, in death, both Margaery and Queen Olenna had victories over Cersei. Margaery with Tommen choosing her over his mother and Olenna telling Jaime that she killed Joffrey right after she drank the poison he given her.
To be clear, I FULLY support Cersei and Jaime dying together (anyone who actually thought that Jaime was gonna have some rom-com ending with Brienne wasn't paying attention at all), but I hate that their ending came because some big rocks fell on them and crushed them to death.
Many fans believed that Jaime would be the one to take Cersei out, whether it was a mercy killing or simply a way to end the madness that surrounded her chaotic reign and their doomed...
The fact Jaime chose to return to Cersei and try to save her, ultimately causing his death was beautiful, and heartbreaking. It was a poetic ending to both of them, absolutely fitting to what GoT built itself as in the previous seasons.
