Aug 24, 2006 · Isnt there some sort of legal obligation that a light fitting needs to be fitted/removed by a qualified electrician these days ( not lamp shade obviously) If this is the case whats the situation when selling, I have had an electrician do mine, but do I need proof of some sort? Can anyone advise?
