In 2001, with the AOL Time Warner merger complete, the logo was updated to almost match the 2001 closing logo. This appeared on some animated shows such as Justice League, Teen Titans, Ozzy & Drix, What's New, Scooby-Doo?, Baby Looney Tunes, and later episodes of Static Shock and The Zeta Project.

In 2003, the banner was changed to read "WARNER BROS. ANIMATION" across with the "www.warnerbros.com" URL underneath. This was most likely due to the closure of Warner Bros.' Feature Animation division, and the former television/direct-to-video unit became Warner Bros.' main animation department.
