Born on September 22, 1918, in Crailsheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, Hans Fritz Scholl was the son of Robert Scholl and Magdalena Müller. Following an election, Robert assumed the duties of the mayor of Forchtenberg am Kocher.
Although his false confessions had led to the majority of charges being levied against him, on 22nd February 1943, Hans Scholl, Sophie Scholl and Christoph Probst were all sentenced to death by guillotine.
