No. They had real, deadly live snakes. I worked on the show. The snake wranglers had a locked room full of terrariums holding the snakes. It was across the hall from the set dec lock up. NO ONE was allowed in that room without a wrangler. They had a 10 foot albino python they called "Fluffy".
