Year 13 students recorded our highest ever attaining examined set of post 16 results. A third of A level grades were at A or A* and well over half were at A*-B. Approximately two thirds of Applied or Technical grades were at Distinction or above. Over 30 students achieved straight A or A* grades.
GCSEs are qualifications at Level 2 in the National Qualification Framework. There has been a change towards a ‘linear’ form of assessment in all GCSEs. This means that the majority of assessment will be at the end of the course.
