  5. Saint Robert of Newminster. Feast Day: June 7. Death: June 7, 1159. Saint Robert of Newminster, also known as Robert of Morpeth, was born around the year 1100 in Gargrave, a village in the Craven district of Yorkshire county, England.

He founded another monastery a Pipinelle, or Rivebelle, in Northamptonshire, and lived in the strictest union of holy friendship with St. Bernard; also with St. Godric, a holy hermit in those parts, illiterate as to secular learning, but a most spiritual man.
