Scouts' events create a local buzz, raise awareness of local plans, promote new opportunities, and celebrate the impact our movement achieves in a community. An exciting and memorable local event can be effective and engaging, and a fun way to let people know what Scouts does in your community.
Each year, we run an exciting programme of county events, catering for our members aged 4-24. Whilst most events are run on an annual or bi-annual basis, other events may be a one-off. Events are open to young people from across the county.

Oct 2, 2024 · Kent Scouts will be running a Wild Country Expedition in the North Lakes area of Cumbria. This will be open to participants who have completed their training to do their Practice Expedition, or if they have completed that, to do their Assessed Expedition.

Activation usually takes place over a weekend in July, every year (except on a Peak year). The event takes place near Carsington Water and is a one-day event - Saturday for Cubs (or Scouts under 11), Sunday for Scouts & Explorers. Activities include: Archaeology. Archery and Shooting.
