    John William "Johnny" Carson was an American television host and comedian. He appeared in the episode "Krusty Gets Kancelled" as himself.

    He appeared in one episode of The Tonight Show. Bart and Lisa watched it. They didn't find the joke he told in his opening monologue, but for them it was still fun to be up late.

    After Carson's rating dropped, Krusty came to see him at his house and played tennis with him.
