It's used pretty widely but it's not the universal sports cheer - it's only used for individual players, so grigor, pulev (boxer), etc. And it's also kind of earned - only proven dominant players get it, you wouldn't shout it for everyone. The standard is Haide which more often gets shortened to Aide.
