Jul 9, 2019 · Assuming you're in the right forum (playing the Java version) the game doesn't keep track of whether you've been in creative mode, you can still get all the Advancements, the only worry is if you think that's cheating and don't enjoy your success as much.

I want to build an underground bunker, complete with a “Do Not Enter” section that’s basically just a massive mob spawner/XP farm. Naturally that means I’d have to place the blocks in creative, but there are still some achievements we’re trying to get.
Depends on what you switch to creative for. If its to stack up on diamonds then yes, if its to give you some hard to get building blocks for a build you have in mind but cant be bothered to farm for then no.
