Oct 11, 2023 · Hope is an expectation with certainty that God will do what he has said. I hope you can see the difference. One is a wish or desire, the other is a certainty or guarantee. Let me use a verse from Scripture to illustrate the point. “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1).
