The World Scroll is a Rare item found on the Shrine, near Marine Base G-1's Rough Waters. It is used to complete Gatekeeper Puff's quest, in order to open the Reverse Mountain gate and clear the player's way to the Second Sea.
The Shrine is a quest location that holds the World Scroll. It is surrounded by Rough Waters that instantly summon a Sea Serpent upon detecting a player ship (meaning that you can geppo without it spawning a Sea Serpent). It is located in between North and Northeast from Reverse Mountain.
To awaken Pharaoh Akshan (Crocodile) the player needs to collect and equip 3 artifacts scattered around the Kingdom's cities. All of their spawn locations have a random set of spawn locations, which can be easily memorized by watching a YouTube tutorial.
Instead of getting the usual exp from killing Hostile NPCs, they will get extra exp after killing a set amount. There are also special quests to attain abilities such as Ray's quest to obtain Busoshoku/Armament Haki. Here is a large list of all the quests in the game.
