    Medallions are a type of item and a gameplay mechanic in Fortnite: Battle Royale. They were introduced in Chapter 5: Season 1.

    Medallions can be obtained by eliminating Bosses. They do not take up inventory slots, and instead go to a separate spot in the inventory specifically for them, similar to Victory Crowns.

    All Medallions are of Legendary rarity.

    Chapter 5: Season 1

    •Update v28.00: Introduced 5 Medallions: Montague's, Peter Griffin's, Valeria's, Oscar's and Nisha's. •December 15 2023 Hotfix: •Added a Shield Cap for each Medallion. •Lowered the Circle's radius by 60%. •Shield regeneration now stops for 3 seconds after taking damage. •Reduced Shield regeneration. •Update v28.01.01: Changed all Medallion Icons to 2D. The old 3D Icons however are still used on the Map when a Boss carrying one is still alive. •Update v28.10: Changed the Medallion Icons for when a Medallion Boss is carrying one to the new ones.

    •Update v29.00: •Vaulted all Society Medallions. •Added Aspects of the Gods: Aspect of Speed, Aspect of Siphon, Aspect of Agility and Aspect of Combat. •Update v29.01: •Added fall damage immunity to Aspect of Speed.

    •During development, Valeria's Medallion, Nisha's Medallion, Montague's Medallion, and Oscar's Medallion were named Flamme Fatale's Medallion, Fancy Fencer's Medallion, Dapper Dude's Medallion, and Tie Tiger's Medallion. Peter Griffin's Medallion remained the same however.

    •Match Quests refer to Medallions as Society Medallions.

    •According to Odyssey, the Society Medallions were made from relics of The Pantheon, which is why they are enemies of The Society.

    •During Chapter 5: Season 1 Medallions were known as Society Medallions.
