Tsukishima quietly praises Kageyama and manages to sidestep Hinata who had attempted to hug him for his accurate guess of Shiratorizawa's play. Karasuno now has set point but that is taken back when Reon lands a spike.
- Number 1 - Daichi Sawamura. It's revealed following the timeskip that after graduation Sawamura now works as part of the Miyagi Prefecture Police Force in the Community Safety Division.
- Number 2 - Koshi Suguwara. Thankfully, Suguwara remains mostly unchanged as well. He's still his kooky self (trying to teach Tanaka's parrot the theme for Ju-On in the final chapter of the series), and has been working as an elementary school teacher following graduation.
- Number 3 - Asahi Azumane. Asahi Azumane let his hair flow a little bit more following graduation, and has since become an apparel designer in Tokyo. But unlike his former Karasuno buddies, in the final chapter of the series he's not watching the Olympics.

Kageyama sets to Tsukishima but his spike is received by Goshiki. Reon sends the last hit to Ushijima who spikes and scores when Nishinoya is unable to receive again. While Ushijima is receiving praise from the cheering squad, Nishinoya requests the team to give him three chances, promising that he will get use to Ushijima's spikes.

Overview. While Hinata, Kageyama, and Tsukishima are gone, the Karasuno High School Volleyball Team do practice matches with Tokonami High School. Meanwhile, as the other boys are doing a practice match with the Shiratorizawa third-years, Hinata watches them play and begins to realize that all he’d ever concentrated on is chasing after the ball.
Kageyama sets Tanaka a good set at Inarizaki match point that gets blocked and saved by Noya, the rally continues until Kageyama gets to set him again. And he sets him a ball that's right at the antenna, giving Tanaka more options but also giving him more difficult options.
