In addition to the main teacher in each classroom, there are many other jobs inside and outside of lessons that contribute to how a school runs and how pupils learn. These jobs are typically called support roles, and make up half of the workforce in schools.
Student Support and Guidance. Monitor, evaluate and support intervention to tackle any student underperformance. Support Progress Leaders in dealing with areas of concerns with all students. Help staff to achieve constructive working relationships with students.
General office administration and front of house duties. Meet and greet all visitors to the School. Answer and direct all incoming phone calls. Process and distribute incoming post and frank outgoing post.
