Sep 17, 2019 · The five elegant studies to date support that notion that hair shedding increases in late Summer and Fall for humans. We don’t really know why humans shed like this although it is proposed that climate factors are very import for humans.
Many people can grow extremely long head hair and facial hair. Are there evolutionary theories as to why this is the case? It seems like having long hair could be a disadvantage, and extremely long hair seems to be rare in other mammals.
