What the Bible says about Custodian/Guardian. ( From Forerunner Commentary ) Galatians 3:23-24. Tutor literally means "child-leader" and would be better translated "guardian" or "custodian." It was God's purpose to protect Israel from the sinful, pagan cultures of the world until Christ came.
