Oct 9, 2019 · DD went to Barton, did well. Not much community feel. Lots of friends went to Peter Symonds and according to DD symonds is quite druggy. ( Obviously drugs are everywhere, but it seems worse at Symonds- wealthy kids maybe). Definitely better support at Barton. Symonds is more sink or swim.

Oct 23, 2016 · From what I've heard from friends at Barton, and my brother's experience there, it's a lot more helpful here. Honestly, the whole 'symonds is academic, Barton is friendly' thing is self-perpetuating. Once you're actually here it doesn't make a blind bit of difference.
