Oct 14, 2024 · Leon is the first anime character with a full team of six Pokémon to have his entire team voiced by just one voice actor in the Japanese version: Kenta Miyake. Leon is the first Trainer in the anime to Gigantamax more than one Pokémon in a single battle.
- Kanto/Indigo League and Orange League. Ash’s team in the Kanto region consisted of Pikachu, Butterfree, Pidgeot, Bulbasaur, Charizard, and Squirtle. His team in Orange Islands had Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charizard, Squirtle, Lapras, and Snorlax.
- Johto Leauge. Ash’s team in the Johto region consisted of Pikachu, Bayleef, Cyndaquil (evolves into Quilava in Diamond and Pearl), Totodile, Noctowl, and Phanpy (it evolves to Donphan in Ruby and Sapphire, in the following region).
- Hoenn League/Battle Frontier. Ash’s team in the Hoenn region consisted of Pikachu, Swellow, Grovyle, Corphish, Torkoal, and Glalie. His team for the Kanto Battle Frontier consists of Pikachu, Sceptile, Swellow, Corphish, Donphan, and Aipom (who was traded away to Dawn).
- Sinnoh League. Ash’s team in the Sinnoh region consisted of Pikachu, Staraptor, Torterra, Buizel, Infernape, Gliscor, and Gible. The team included Aipom before it was traded away and replaced by Buizel.

Leon's team consisted of Rillaboom, Charizard and another unknown Pokémon. Leon easily defeated Alain with the two former Pokémon, with Charizard taking out both Alain's Malamar and Charizard without much difficulty, even though Alain had Mega Evolved Charizard.
More new faces will help guide Ash’s Alolan adventure, in the form of a group of skilled Trainers—Kiawe, Lana, Mallow, and Sophocles—and a mysterious research assistant called Lillie. Frequent foes Team Rocket have also made the trip to Alola, looking to swipe some high-powered new Pokémon.
I don´t mean legendary Pokemons like Lugia, Dialga, Arceus ....etc. [My team (six Pokemons): Lucario, Dragonite, Aerodactyl, Ninetales, Vaporeon, Absol] I would have a team of six humans, that way I would have 36 Pokémon in battle. I’d be unstoppable.
