In my previous install of Windows 10 I had theMinecraft Launcher which worked normally using the migrated account that you use to log into the launcher and I didn't need to use Microsoft Store at all. I now have a fresh install of Windows 10 and would like to acquire that same version of the launcher that does not use Microsoft Store.

May 20, 2022 · The only other possibility is to always play in offline mode (disconnect from the internet) starting from when the launcher was still signed in but this won't work for you since it signed you out (restoring a backup of the .minecraft folder, or C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft, which stores the actual launcher files (assuming the "old" launcher, not the new one from Microsoft), may work ...
