On-Campus Commencement Resumes. Three classes of graduates celebrated on campus in May, with the Class of 2022’s Commencement Exercises followed the next weekend by more informal cap-and-gown festivities for the Classes of 2020 and 2021, whose initial ceremonies were held online because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jul 25, 2022 · In an experience that felt both “awkward” and “very nostalgic,” more than 500 members of the pandemic classes of 2020 and 2021 who didn’t get to have on-campus Commencements accepted invitations to return for a celebratory weekend in May.
Replacement trees will be chosen with care, Nemo promises, with some campus plantings set for April 29, which is both Arbor Day and the first full day of Alumni Weekend 2022. Time will bring new trees and new memories. – Mark Kendall and Marilyn Thomsen.
