- Crusie Lamps. Crusie lamps, also called Double Crusies or Phoebe lamps, are among the earliest antique-style lamps from the 17th century. Their name has a Scottish origin, which means “a vessel for oil.”
- Betty Lamps. Antique Betty lamps were manufactured during the 18th century to reuse the excess oil drippings from the used wicks on Crusie lamps. They were also meant to increase user control and reduce oil spillage.
