  3. The Oresteia is the one surviving trilogy from antiquity. It includes the plays Agamemnon, The Libation Bearers , and The Eumenides . The first depicts Agamemnon’s fatal return home; he arrives with his “war prize” Cassandra in tow, and Clytemnestra murders both.
