Nov 10, 2019 · Gloria’s shop opened in 1969 when she was in her twenties. The store was named the Canterbury Shop and was located in the Brookdale Shopping Center, where Walgreens is now. She sold books and a few “funky and unique” gifts, and was the only store in town at the time that sold bestseller books!
