I recently saw Paris, Texas (1984) and it is currently in my top 3 movies of all time. Recommendation. Although the movie has a strong pedigree and is highly regarded, it still exceeded all my expectations. It offers a profound depiction of grief, melancholy and heartache that requires complete emotional investment from the viewer.
