Recently a friend asked me if there was a guide to see all of the Forestry and ExtraTrees trees in their grown state. I've been breeding trees (as I always do) and she wanted some natural looking ones for her base. After a quick google I told her that no, unfortunately there wasn't.

There are 96 new tree species, such as Banana, Brazil nut and Douglas-fir. This comes with many new fruits as well as 35 new wooden planks. Extra Trees allows these, as well as Forestry and vanilla planks, to be combined to give doors, gates and various designs of fences.

Extra Trees is a mod created by Binnie that extends the Forestry tree breeding system. The mod adds 96 new tree species with 35 new wooden planks and so many new fruits. There are also new machines to help process the wood into intricate patterns and obtain byproducts.
Jan 20, 2015 · I have spent ages looking for a mod that adds extra trees into Minecraft, not like huge fantastical ones but just more realistic ones. Is there any chance that the Extra Trees mod could be released as a standalone with only the tree and block features without the machines from Forestry?
