Oct 9, 2023 · We are very pleased to announce that Steven D. Leach, MD, Director of the Dartmouth Cancer Center and the Preston T. and Virginia R. Kelsey Distinguished Chair in Cancer at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, has been elected to the prestigious National Academy of Medicine (NAM).
Leach is a world-renowned pancreatic cancer specialist with significant interest in the biology, models, and mechanisms of cancer development and in genomic research to perform sequencing and analysis of the cell types involved in human pancreatic cancer.
Steven D. Leach, MD, a surgical oncologist, and pancreatic cancer researcher, leads Dartmouth Cancer Center, a joint enterprise of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and Dartmouth Health.
