- 2011 Lexus LFA. Average Used Car Price: $845,559. When the LFA first came on Top Gear, Jeremy made fun of it. He had never driven it before. After he did his own review of it, he loved it enough to buy his own!
- 2005 Ford GT. Average Used Car Price: $385,084. Clarkson bit off more than he could chew when he purchased a rare, 550-horsepower 2005 Ford GT. The powerful American-made supercar seemed like the perfect fit for him, but he soon found out there were too many problems with it to use as a daily driver.
- 2015 McLaren 675LT. Average Used Car Price: $252,699. It seems as if Clarkson treated himself to an amazing and spectacular supercar after signing his deal with Amazon to make multiple seasons of the Grand Tour.
- 2010 – 2015 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster. Average Used Car Price: $226,551. The Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster is a truly impressive car thanks to its powerful 6.2-liter AMG V8 engine which can achieve speeds of up to 62 mph in a mere 3.8 seconds.
- Alfa Romeo GTV6. Clarkson is quoted as saying the Alfa Romeo GTV6 is the "best and worst car" he has owned. Anyone that has owned an Alfa Romeo, known someone with an Alfa Romeo, or has read about Alfa Romeo ownership will understand this.
- Lexus LFA. The Lexus LFA is among Jeremy Clarkson's favorite cars of all time, which is understandable. The sound alone of the 553-horsepower Yamaha V10 is still one of the seven wonders of the automotive world.
- Volvo XC90. Another car Clarkson has heaped glowing praise upon, mainly in his newspaper and website columns in the UK, is the Volvo XC90. They have been a mainstay as one of Jeremy Clarkson's personal cars over the years and he's owned at least four.
- BMW 3.0 CSL. A few years back, in a Q&A session with Drivetribe, Clarkson revealed that selling his BMW 3.0 CSL for a few thousand pounds is his biggest car-selling regret.
- Reva G-Wiz DC (August 5, 2007) “It is very small. And it is even smaller than that when you’re inside. It is so small, in fact, that anyone over the age of four will find their left knee is jammed behind the windscreen washer switch, causing it to spray the windscreen constantly as you drive along.
- Hyundai i800. “I will never go in one again.” Fair. Cars like these are a hard sell to real petrolhead car enthusiasts. While Clarkson loves to drive an Aston Martin, or a Lamborghini Aventador, he’s probably wouldn’t choose something like this, or a Vauxhall Zafira Tourer.
- Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TDI. “As an overall package it did nothing all week except remind me how much I wanted a Golf GTI.”
- Nissan GT-R Track Edition. “The standard GT-R is a five-star car. It is one of the best cars in the world. And yet this track-day abomination gets no stars at all.
But there are those times where he seems to get so attached to a car that he basically falls in love with them. Below is a list of some of Jeremy Clarkson’s favourite cars. Some of which he’s only just played with on either Top Gear or Grand Tour and some of which he actually owns (or has owned).
