The old aliens are still in he database, he just hasn’t unlocked them. He spent 4 years without using the watch. Because of that, it recalibrated after years of inactivity, giving him a new set of aliens since the programming it had in its old form became outdated.

Humungosaur, Jetray, and Goop appear in the reboot (Goop appears in Ben 10 vs the Universe movie). Big Chill and Chromastone are used by Alien Force Ben in Alien X-Tinction, Spidermonkey was used by Future Ben in Ben 10000.
