AiC uses blues, early rock and roll, and country sounds behind a hard rock/heavy metal approach. Notice the use of dominant 7th chords both in the chords and the vocal harmonies. Very bluesy sounding any time they do it. Notice how "country" they sound when they go acoustic. Not all the time, but its in there.
