Apr 14, 2020 · Meridian Street through the Fountain District will have shared lane markings, the posted speed limit is 25 mph, and a roundabout at Meridian/Illinois will improve safety for all users, including bicyclists. Jul 1, 2024 · The roundabout project will replace the existing signal at the intersection next to the Meridian Haggen supermarket. It will also add sidewalks and bike lanes to W. Illinois Street. Cilinceon says drivers should expect significant slowdowns and recommends using different routes for the next month.
