Mar 30, 2024 · Cam Ward, a Rossview High School student, was playing in a pickup basketball game around 6 p.m. with his teammates, the Leaf-Chronicle reported. His basketball coach Johnny Jackson said he collapsed while he was jogging back on defense. He was rushed to a hospital but later died.
