In 1993, Thunder and Lightning were signed by World Championship Wrestling (WCW). They made their first appearance at a WCW Worldwide taping in Orlando, FL on July 10, 1993 (in an episode that would not air until November 13 of that year), defeating Billy Brooks and Rhett Blair.
Thunder & Lightning were Clark Haynes (Thunder) & Jeff Farmer (Lightning). Jeff is known to some fans as Cobra. He feuded in WCW with Sgt. Craig "Pitbull" Pittman in 1995. He's most remembered though as Fake Sting/NWO Sting. Before wrestling the two were bodybuilders & roommates in Florida.
Thunder and Lightning is a Puerto Rican professional wrestling tag team consisting of Reynaldo Rodriguez (born December 3, 1972, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico) [2] and Alex Cruz (born October 18, 1975, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico) [3] under the ring names Thunder and Lightning respectively.
This was always my favorite thunder entrance and ring apron. I absolutely loved the aesthetic to it, they had lights flashing like lightning (( though they still did this throughout pretty much the rest of thunder's lifetime)) in blue Sparks would come down the entrance way like rain.

There are skeptics because WCW lost 50-70 million in 2000. The new venture, Fusient Media, will buy WCW for $75 million. Turner will still maintain a minority interest in the company.
