I've always enjoyed the games made by their Valkyrie Profile team. These were VP1, VP2, and Resonance of Fate. I've been less interested in the Star Ocean games, but I did enjoy First Departure and Second Evolution for being anime Star Trek.

Valkyrie profile PSX: Nearly identical to the Japan version but with minor fixes in the menu screen. In the Japanese version, Characters not in the party were unable to change or learn skills nor were they able change or remove equipment.
