Furthermore, near the beginning of this scene Shakespeare had placed a speech about “a divinity [God]” who shapes a person’s life, and here in the “augury” speech Hamlet brings in a famous statement by Jesus about God’s care over a person’s life with the reference to the fall of a sparrow.
