  6. Dec 21, 2022 · As far as family audiences go, The Whale is a tough sell. Apart from the harrowing emotional content, there is a fairly sexual scene right at the beginning of the film, and then some serious profanity throughout.

  7. Jan 31, 2023 · This movie is a must see and one of the best depictions of the human experience I’ve seen to date. For the age, know your kid. It’s an emotionally hard movie to get through. I felt exhausted at the end and I am 29. If I was a parent, I would not take any child younger than 15 to this movie.
