May 26, 2020 · It is. And it’s all the better for it! As always, if you appreciate The Asylum movies then this is a solid recommendation, if not then this is probably one for you to avoid. Collision Earth is out now on VOD in the US, the film comes to DVD in the UK on July 6th courtesy of High Fliers Films.
It was called 'Collision Earth'(CE) and while it was not quite, relatively speaking, as rotten as the other movie I recently reviewed, 'Earth's Final Hours' (EFH), this movie still had every single one of those clichéd plot devices that make up a very crappy science fiction movie.
Collision Earth is a SyFy Channel science fiction disaster movie, clearly made on a minimal budget. The planet Mercury becomes magnetized by a freak solar event, which somehow puts it on a collision course with Earth, and the collision can somehow be averted by something called Project 7.
