  6. In this talk, we will discuss the theory of Vector and Banach lattices, as well as some recent developments. In particular, we will discuss order convergence and unbounded order convergence (uo-convergence). In many classical function spaces, uo-convergence agrees with almost everywhere convergence.

  7. MATH 518 - Functional Analysis. Locally convex spaces, weak topologies and duality in Banach spaces, weak compactness in Banach spaces, structure of classical Banach spaces, local structures, infinite-dimensional geometry of Banach spaces and applications. Prerequisite: MATH 516. Corequisite: MATH 447 or consent of Department.
