Trimark Pictures. Trimark Pictures was an American [1] production company that specialized in the production and distribution of television and home video motion pictures. [2] The company was formed in 1984 by Mark Amin as Vidmark Entertainment with Vidmark Inc. (later Trimark Holdings Inc.) established as the holding company. [3]
In late 2000, it was acquired by Lions Gate Entertainment, and folded into Lionsgate Films. Currently, Amin is a member of Lionsgate's board of directors. Trimark Pictures did not use a logo until 1989, although they would not use an on-screen logo until 1991; during this period, the Vidmark logo was used. Logo (January 11, 1991-June 26, 2001)

Visuals: Same as the short Trimark Pictures logo, but it freeze-frames before "PICTURES" fades in as the grooves in the pyramid sweep with white light and the logo starts to shine.
