I need a new cover for my hot tub, a bullfrog R7. Very standard size rounded corner square 88". I've been looking into the names that usually come up here: thecoverguy, myspacover, spacovers.net, spa-mart, etc and they have been getting absolutely brutal reviews on places like google and BBB.
Jan 17, 2016 · Similar complaints, especially during winter operation was quite common. We decided to invest in a manual cover lifter and installed a pergola with a retractable awning over the hot tub. So far, much less stress.
The Spa-Mart Standard is a 5"x3" cover with 1 lb. foam. The Rhtubs Deluxe is a 4"x2" with 1.5 lb. foam. Both have a 6 mil vapor barrier, steel C-channel beams, good quality vinyl, vacuum sealing, etc. The RH Deluxe comes with a continuous hinge seal, the SM Standard has it as a $25 option.

Apr 8, 2022 · We spent hundreds of pounds on a new hot tub cover only for it to be supplied with stretchy elastic fasteners which are not fit for purpose. In any amount of wind, the cover comes off of the tub and leaves the water exposed to the elements and the heater permanently on, trying to keep temperature.
