  3. The reason Velma isn't a full-fledged Villain Protagonist is that she's trying to find her mom, is trying to stop a serial killer, and she does have moments where she realizes how her selfishness is affecting her friends (even if those moments are short-lived).

Dinkley is the main protagonist of Velma. She is voiced by Mindy Kaling.

Velma is an Indian-American girl with brown skin, auburn hair, and black eyes. She wears an orange sweater and red skirt, along with long orange socks. She also has dark red boots and black square-rimmed glasses.

Velma is shown to be self-centered and very dismissive of others. She regularly ignores her friends' feelings and problems when they don't directly involve her. She was prepared to lie to Daphne that she was hallucinating so that she would drop everything to help her, showing that she has a manipulative side to her personality.

She is also quick to insult people she believes are beneath her. Her father comments on her being a weirdo, and mentions she was voted "most revenge-y" by the other students, showing that this version of Velma is far pettier than the original. She also demonstrates a complete lack of empathy towards her friends, as she rarely treats Norville with respect and enjoys insulting him, showed no interest in Fred getting framed and didn't do much to help him (nor did she care when twerking over Victoria's freshly-killed corpse in front of him), and is an emotionally-abusive person to Daphne despite the two having feelings for each other. The only person she shows entirely genuine emotions for is her mom Diya, who Velma prioritized finding for her entire childhood.

  7. I think Velma said it all, the clues were how the murders all were setup in a specific way for an intended purpose. The bodies weren't hidden like one would if trying to just get some free brains, but instead setup in dumb places to frame Velma or get Fred off prison.
