- Christmas Gift Exchange Chaos. This can be chaotic depending also on how fast-paced you make it. All you need is Christmas Gift Exchange Chaos cards. Put the cards in a bowl or paper sack and take turns picking one and doing what it says.
- Holiday Cheer Game. How to play: The gifts stay in place in this game, and the players move. It can get quite chaotic, especially if the gifts are unwrapped!
- Left or Right Game. A simple left or right game where you read a story with the words “left” and “right” scattered throughout. Every time one of those words is read, the players pass the gifts in that direction.
- White Elephant: A classic favorite, also known as Yankee Swap or Dirty Santa! Participants take turns choosing a wrapped gift or “stealing” a gift that someone else has already unwrapped.
- Secret Santa: This is a classic Gift Exchange game, and for good reason! Before your festive event, draw names to determine who you’ll be shopping for secretly and set a budget to shop within.
- Gift Auction: Provide participants with play money and turn gift selection into an exciting auction. This game adds an element of strategy as players bid on their favorite items.
- Musical Gifts: Arrange gifts in a circle and play holiday tunes. When the music stops, whoever is holding a gift gets to open it.
