Nov 22, 2011 · Posted November 22, 2011. Hello everyone! I have a problem, utorrent won't go above 1MB/s when i download. My connection allows it to go up to 9MB/s (it ran at a average of 5-6 mb/s before i installed the latest version of utorrent) I have read all the posts related to this and tried everything. Nothing works... it's still stuck at 1mb/s.
Sep 2, 2010 · Basically a Byte is 8 bits. (notice the case on each word) If your average transfer rate in utorrent is about 200KB/s, then your internet speed is probably around a 2mbit. It wouldn't be unheard of for a connection to have a burst speed of 10mbit. (which may kick in once in a while)

This has been asked so many times that perhaps uTorrent should have the view files option set as open by default with an option to close, rather than the other way around. I have posted a link below going back a while ago. It took me a time to find it as I wanted to find the one with the screen shots.

When trying a second time, get the message "the torrent you are trying to add is already in the list of torrents. Do you want to load more trackers from it" After clicking yes or no, the torrent still isn't displayed.
