Hit Single, also sometimes known as Hit Single Real is a mod directed by Churgney Gurgney/Sturm. It features Sturm's self-proclaimed "Hit Singles". It contains several songs featuring several opponents with more to come in the future.
After beating Silly Billy, a platformer game called Garn47 is unlocked. More information about the game can be found here.
Hit Single is an anthology, meaning the songs do not connect to each other nor show an overarching storyline. While the story of some of the songs are shown within the songs themselves, sometimes there is a background context missing or zero context at all. This section will be used to explain the context of some of the songs.
Health Drain: In Trichael, Darnell Wet Fart, and Silly Billy, the health bar will drain when the opponent sings.
Fear Meter: In Darnell Wet Fart, the fear meter will appear. Anytime Starvedwared sings, the fear meter will rise. However, to counter this, the meter will go down anytime Mr. Krabs sings. If the fear meter maxes out, the player will get an instant game over.
Modchart: Around 3:29 in Fakebaby, the strumline shakes and moves to other parts of the screen.
Mania: Tri-Torial completely overhauls the UI and gameplay of the song to have the same mechanics as another rhythm game called Sound Voltex, adding three new types of keys; a cyan left knob, a pink right knob, and an orange bar. Their keybinds are the S key, L key, and spacebar, respectively.
•Hit Single's logo, main menu, and UI layout draw heavy inspiration from Metal Gear Solid 2.
•In Conan's game, trying to get above the map at the beginning triggers a scrapped jumpscare screen (made by Falsecow_) from the Vs. Sonic.Exe mod to play.
•Hit Single has a track record of leaving behind some odd leftover files, such as a Garfield modpack icon and a spritesheet of the "Yo Mama" guy (which has since been removed).
•Hit Single is the first mod to have its own 3D platformer with in-game songs that can be unlocked as players progress through the game.
•Silly Billy has become Sturm's most popular song a week after its release, ammassing 5+ million views as of May 19, 2024.
•To put that into perspective, Legacy, Sturm's previous most popular song that was made for Friday Night Crunchin', had amassed 1.3 million views after two years, which Silly Billy surpassed in seven days.
Throughout Garn47, trophies can be unlocked via completing difficult conditions. These trophies are saved into the own menu in Hit Single upon being unlocked.

A ROAD TO CREATION. Enter THE SUPERSTRUCTURE and defeat Garn46. After that, climb to the second floor and enter the Giraffe Town minigame by crossing the wide path. From here, a radio can be collected, which can be brought to Garn47's house and through a boarded-up wall by clipping through. This takes the player into a new room, in which the radio music playing has to match the current background music. Finally, the player has to complete various minigames and get the game's ending, unlocking the trophy.
THE SUN IS DYING YET HERE WE ARE. Enter THE SUPERSTRUCTURE and defeat Garn46, then climb to the second floor. From here, a minigame based off Giraffe Town can be accessed by crossing a wide path through a tunnel. The minigame has to be completed to unlock the trophy.
MARBLOB Same condition as "A ROAD TO CREATION.", but the Marblob minigame within the shed must be completed without pressing space.
THE CHAMBERS OF THE FUTURE. Unlock six of the game's badges and complete the ending sequence that follows.
